Goddess Shailaputri
Day 1 of Navratri.
Goddess Shailaputri
The nine days of Navratri are solely dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine Avatars – the Navadurga – each day a different incarnation is honored and worshipped
On day 1 of Navratri, September 26, We honor and worship Goddess Shailaputri
Goddess Shailaputri represents Mother Nature and literally means “Daughter of the Mountains”.
She is Devi of the Muladhara (root) chakra – the goal of every yogi is to keep the attention concentrated on the Muladhara chakra on the first day of Navratri so that they can experience the bliss of the upward journey of the energy as the days progress during Navratri.
There are specific colors associated with each of the nine days of Navratri. You can honor the Goddess Shailaputri by wearing a WHITE color dress.
Day 2 of Navratri will be sent in subsequent days
